    Default Help! Wifi keeps disconnecting

    So basicaly my wifi will go to Limited access and I wont be able to open up any websites, this happens alot. It is my familys personal wifi router and is password protected. It is D-link too. Basicaly It will disconnect me at random times and its getting annoying. Ill have to go down stairs and unplug it then plug it in again to fix it. Anyone know the soloution to fix this?

    What device are you using? A laptop? A desktop? Have you tried to run windows repair on it when it loses connection? Have you got up-to-date drivers?

    Im using a laptop, Ive tried running the troubleshoot programe which worked for a bit, but now it dont work at all. Ive got a new pc, and it does it to all the computers and devices in the house. They all will lose wifi at the same time

    phone your broadband provider and ask them to send a new one

    Hey dragga I had the exact same problem with my d-link but it would happen when I finished a torrent download or when it was raining. Does it ever happen during those times?

    If it's with a company usually you can ring up and they'll test your network for you, give your provider a ring and see if they can resolve it. Usually if they can't resolve it through the phone they'll send an engineer out within a few days.
