So to go to a Scottish University like I want to, I had to take a IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam, which I did on the 18th of last month. What two of the universities said is that I couldn't have anything under 5.5 and had to get an overall grade of 6.
6 -Competent User, has generally effective command of the language despite some inaccuracies, inappropriacies and misunderstandings. Can use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar situations.
Here are my results:
Listening: 7.5
Reading: 8.0
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 6.0
Overall: 7.0
7 -Good User, has operational command of the language, though with occasional inaccuracies, inappropriateness and misunderstandings in some situations. Generally handles complex language well and understands detailed reasoning.
So I'm pretty happy and congratulations to me!See you in Scotland!
