Attitudes of Community Staff

Loads of people have been coming to me like complaining, I have no idea why because I don't really care too much but now i've noticed it, its getting so annoying.

Theres a group of staff, mainly community staff (Events and HxL) who are constantly at eachothers throats 24/7 causing the connections between lots of the community departments to split down the middle. HxL arent advertising events, events arent advertising HxL.. all because of some stupid arguments that wouldnt fit too much out of place in a Habbo Adoption Centre.

All I see when I look on the forum, go into events or go on skype is SHE SAID THIS, HE SAID THAT, HE WONT DO THIS, YOU DONT LIKE ME, I DONT LIKE ANYONE and its getting past mildly amusing and turning into annoying. I used to be able to have a nice conversation with a whole department without someone making comments about other staff members, being idiots and leaking info about other departments and being nasty. Now all I see is a group of 12 year olds who think, because they host events or because they are on the radio that they are one step up from everyone else.. yeah.

Some of the departments and the little groups inside have completely messed up the look of the whole fansite. There are some lovely people in events and hxl, but there are also quite a few idiots and stirrers. Its very hard to be able to trust any of the community departments because of the few that like to cause trouble.

Its horrible to see really, and yeah I get angry and flip out so me saying this could be ironic to you but ive been here for near on 3 years and watching go from a brilliant community fansite to nothing more than a stricter version of thishabbo.. its quite sad. Hopefully community management, or general management will step in and actually do something about it. Because at the rate this stuff is going.. its going to cause some serious problems. (Doesnt include Jade and Mark, because they are actually trying)

From the people I personally have spoken to at events, I've never had an issue with them and I hope there is no issue with me. Nonetheless, it wouldn't surprise me if EVERYTHING you said above it spot on.

Team work is key. Lets hope we get some!

I think a massive factor in this, is that both the Events team and the HxL team are the two biggest departments on Habbox. I can't say for sure, since I'm not a staff member, but I'd imagine that there's a big community feel in other departments, where people know each other, and are friendly with each other, than these two departments.

Well I know in Events a lot of people dislike each other
but in Comps theres no arguing

yea pretty much the case for smaller deps like graphics content and news that is, especially from the experience i've had in those 3 lmao, much nicer community feels in them

There's 23 events staff.
There's 45 HxL staff.

You're going to get a lot more conflict in 23+45 people than 8.

I think a small group of events and a small group of hxl staff all got into a massive row about something. I mean comps, news, rv, content, gfx are all pretty dramaless but events and hxl mainly are always at eachothers necks

Indeed, I didn't suggest it was the whole of the two departments hating each other Just with more staff in those departments, there's more chance of trouble brewing Plus the two departments are pretty similar, events providing entertainment within the game, and HxL providing entertainment outside of the game. The two could be seen to be in competition with each other really.

Plus, just another assumption, but it's fairly clear to say that these two departments would have the youngest staff members in general.
