Largest Macbook Pro you can get is a 15" bear that in mind, I love mine though, I won't ever go back to windows.

Man if you aren't really using it for gaming it's a bit of a waste going with Alienware, never had a mac myself but I'd say go with a mac.

You don't need anything particularly powerful.

Dreamweaver isn't demanding, FTP is internet speed reliant and coding is just, well, notepad.

    Cheap and cheerful Dell 17".

I have this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-350E...samsung+laptop, doesn't seem to be in stock atm though. Really nice, it has a full keyboard, touchpad is a decent size and the screen looks great. I don't do any gaming or whatever, so I can't say much on the perfomance, but the boot time is about twenty seconds which is definitely the fastest I've ever had. Windows 8 is kind of weird though.

    Agreed.

Unless you wanna go down the Mac route.

Not gonna question the screen size, it's personal preference, but I find 13" to be just right

Eww dreamweaver. Never experienced a mac and alienware is maybe more than you need to spend.
