    Default Obvious Scam

So, I was in my coin shop, doing business. This guy comes in and says "Can you vote for me? I'm giving 5c for every vote". So I asked him "vote for what?". And he basically said "Vote for me in the habbo competition. Search [insert youtube username here] on youtube and read the desc. for link to vote then log in and vote, and I'll give you your 5c."
Then another guy comes in, and basically says he's interested, and the original guy said "Alright, I saw you voted, thanks" The guy then says thanks, as if he got his 5c. So I thought maybe this was legitimate, and went to the link, which took me to a website which had a really phone name, but was trying to impersonate sulake with the name, and the website looked exactly like habbo's login page. I switched back to habbo, and said "No way I'm doing that, its an obvious scam if you're asking for my login information." After that, both of the guys left.

My guess is that they were friends and wanted to make it look legitimate by having someone "vote" and then them getting rewarded to make somebody else want to do it.
Just wanted to tell everyone about this, be careful!

It also could have just been the same person on two different accounts, as I'm sure silly scammers like these are greedy

I had someone try something like this on me a few years ago lol. But as you say, it's quite obvious it's a scam when they start asking for your Habbo login details .

    Not online very often

That's really bad to get someone else (even if it was his own account) to help steal your account

people know me because of that shower thing one time and I do not regret anything

upon further review I feel a rather mild regret is warranted

Yeah, a lot of people have been really creative with hacking people's accounts. Everyone should be cautious at all times!

it's not even that creative, the concept of the scam is the basis for so many and it's so shocking how people still fall for it

notgoingtoscamyou420: "can you please ___ for me, I'll give you some money"
    idontknowhim123: "sure"
    *pretends to do it*
    idontknowhim123: "thanks for the money"
gullible-victim: "wow that sounds good and it must be real if idontknowhim123 got the money, I want to try it!"
