how to get slug slime off of clothing!?

i hope this is the right place to post

i am pulling my weave out literally. i stepped on a slug accidently when i was outside not ling ago and it left a massive slime mark on my sock which wont come off at all!!!!!

i have tried using salt water
white wine
washing up liquid

but it just is not coming off i am.really stressing out and i have tried googling but there are no decent answers!!

Stick it in the wash or just bin it if it's only a sock I'm sure leaving it to soak in some hot soapy water would do the trick. Pesky slugs, hope you didn't kill it
