Default To cut, or to not cut!

I used to have really long hair when I was a little younger and had it cut dead short when I started high school
Like, now its grown out a bit but its not like super long, its just longish for me.
My mum's nagging me to have it cut cos I can't get rid of knots well (its Blackpool and windy and I have major curly hair ok)
I like it but I agree butttttt I really love the length
So I'm faced with this problem of whether to cut it or not

You could always cut it and get extensions if you really wanted long hair ?!

I am a fan of short hair. Less hair, less care.

If you get the ends cut off just so it looks healthier and in a better condition, it maybe less likely to get all knotted up in the wind and when you have your hair cut, your hair is more likely to grow longer as if you leave it and it's not very healthy your hair will stop growing when it gets to a certain length!

tbf long hair is easier to handle as you mostly only have to comb/brush it whereas with shorter you have to style it with product and tools to get it to look decent. especially with curly hair because short, curly = frizzy/bushy whereas length will weigh down the curliness. get a tangle tweezer, they are AMAZING and also only comb hair starting from the bottom where the tangles are before combing through it all so u dont pull it all out..

Definitely easier to work with long hair, as Jen said with shorter hair you have to style it and keep it styled whereas longer hair does it itself for the most part. Also you said you like the length yourself, and you're old enough to choose yourself and not get it cut just because your mum says so

The day I got my hair cut short I regretted it and it is taking forever to grow back to its really longer length. Don't do it. Anyway what @buttons said
