[HxSS] Summertime Stories - Ends 22nd August

Whenever I was at school I used to look forward to the Summer holidays although I rarely did anything exciting during them. I remember one Summer I went to a place called Gibraltar and visited an area where I was surrounded by monkeys, and it was possible one of the best experiences I've had.

For this competition I would like you to sum up your best summer holiday memory in 100 words or less!

On a windmill with my boyfriend, I was 500ft in the air and I saw the sunset, and a few stars surrounding it wierdly, and funny enough a shooting star just flew past the sun!It was a few days ago, when there were shooting stars in the country side of England

My mum loves telling the story to friends and family where I nearly drowned on holiday once because apparently it's a 'funny' story to tell.

I was only little around the age of 2 and I ran in the sea, I tripped and faceplanted in the water and my dad had to run in and get me out.

Well, my best summer time memory would have to be when i went to puerto rico with my family and visited an animal wildlife sanctuary and got to wear a glove and hold an eagle. We also got to old parrots and get up and close with lots of exotic animals. it was really nice.
