JUST HAPPENED TO ME! I'M SO FREAKING DONE WITH THEM THE TWO DON'T EVEN LOOK THE SAME!!

That seems to work sometimes then sometimes it doesn't
I've had this scam done to me. So annoying...

Yeah. Had a guy come in to my shop, "Selling Treasure Patches 5c per, trade me!" and he put hay patches in. I don't fall for these things, though.

This has happened so many times, I'm sorry to hear you got scammed. Money comes and money goes so don't worry too much.

I always like making the scammer feel like a complete ass by just waiting for an extremely long time then paying 2 for 1c for his patches or saying "sorry, I don't need hay, I need treasure patches"

I was so annoyed while writting this thread that I guess it didn't sound the way I wanted.

They tried* to do that scam to me. And yeah it was so freaking annoying. -.-

u said they look similar in trade??? to me they dont, treasure patch is much more squished looking and has sparkles on it, whilst the hay patch is just yellow with noticable bits of straw on it in trade

Lol, someone tried the old fashioned Petal Patch scam on me the other day. I remember when someone tried doing this to me too, I hadn't heard of it before, but before the trade started I then realised they looked a bit similar although not much.
