Moving windows 8 Tiles up and down?

Hi

I've been using windows 8 for a while now (got it when they did the deal) and haven't found it as bad as most but I've found a big problem recently well more of an annoyance.

I like to organise things so I can find and get to stuff easier. The problem I have is that windows 8 tiles only seem to move right to left and not up and down.

For example imagine I have a row of 3 tiles across and 3 down and I want it so that the the first tile in row 1 and row 2 swap places. What tends to happen is that the tile in row 2 would go to where tile 1 is but tile 1 would be moved to the right instead of simply swapping places. This means that other tiles have also been moved and means if I'm trying to rearrange a load of tiles it can take a long time.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do it so they can move in all directions?

Start from the bottom up, still have the same issue but its easier as you know what will move where, thats how I do it, I couldn't find anything to do it like you want, I was looking for a while too.
