I'm just going to put it out there that mechanical keyboards are awesome, I got one today and they're so much nicer to type on than normal keyboards. Between the old school clickity-clacking and the tactile feedback I feel much more precise and far faster typing on one of these.

I think i'll just stick with a normal keyboard as I don't really have a problem with them but I might try mechanical one day.

I would love to get one but I have a feeling my Step Dad will complain about the noise during the night time haha.

I had one but I ended up taking it back within a week the noise was unreal but they are really good to type on!

I have cherry brown switches. They're really not that loud, especially if you're not bottoming out the key.
