    it looks like it'll be quite awkward to hold

    does it not 'fold' down the middle like the other ones?

    No it doesn't it says they removed the clam design or whatever .

    Actually thought this was some April fools thing when I read it so I instantly checked the date...

    IT'S BASICALLY A NINTENDO DS NOW, WHAT WAS THE POINT IN REMOVING THE 3D SLIDER?! They probably had to go with that awful design to make it a noticable amount cheaper than the 3DS.

    Its aimed at 7 and below. The design means its easier for a child to play with and it's less likely to break or be snapped. I think its a good idea just giving people more options and a cheaper version to buy the kids
