    Default Xbox black screen

Ok so I have the Xbox 360 E, and haven't had it for that long. Occasionally when I turn it on it the console will power up and the ring will be green, but the TV screen will remain plain black and if I try to connect the controller it'll just continuously flash green. But idk why? Like I said, only occasionally and not all the time. The only 'solution' I found online was that maybe the HDMI cables aren't in correctly.. but they are .

I'm guessing that you've not changed anything from when it worked to now? So it's the same TV, cables etc?

I honestly haven't got a clue, maybe it might work with a different HDMI cable?

If you're using a hdmi cable, make sure you're on the HDMI channel.
And try all the other channels if it doesn't work.

If that fails, unplug everything from your xbox and re-plug it in correctly. And make sure all the cables are working and not broken.

Xbox will flash green if it detects it is on, but there is nothing "receiving" the HDMI signal, so it wont boot, sounds like a faulty lead of HDMI port.

Should have made myself clearer , I've never changed the cables or anything. Sometimes it'll boot up fine but occasionally it won't. Most of the time it does work though.
