Universal has announced that Jurassic Park 4 will come to theaters on June 13, 2014. Further details on the upcoming film are scarce, but according to Variety, the script is being written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The film, which will be shot and released in 3D, does not yet have a director, but Steven Spielberg — director of the first two Jurassic Park films — is currently slated as a producer. Having just postponed Robopocalypse, Spielberg could potentially direct Jurassic Park 4, but as he still plans to begin shooting his delayed project in six to eight months, it's not very likely. This announcement follows the news that the original Jurassic Park will be rerealeased in theaters for a single week in April in IMAX 3D, which should tide you over until the release of the fourth film.

yeah, i think i've got the first 3 dvds somewhere so i'll find them and watch them before this comes out. i love jurassic park so i can't wait for this, 2013 is going to be a really good year for cinema.

What will said... This is definitely a movie i'd go to see in the cinemas, simply for the 3D even if the plot is cheesy and repetitive, though on the other hand if you wanted to see lifelike dinosaurs then you should just go see Walking With Dinosaurs

I love the Jurassic Park movies, love watching them. I don't like 3D however.

Jurassic Park 3D will be coming out April 2012 as the first movie has been converted into 3D for then.

JP4 will be out in June

Bought all JP's on blu-ray lately one of my ultimate favourite movies of all time.

Pretty cool it'll be in 3d, I saw a show a couple of years ago in Universal Studios about 3D dinosaurs based on Jurassic Park and it was pretty cool. Having said that I've never seen the films...
