Default Looking for app developers [paid]

So I'm looking for someone who can help me, or help me find WHERE I can find someone to help me with an app!

I'm looking to get it on iOS and Android, haven't got developer accounts yet (waiting for funding) but sort of... want to know how it's done or get started.

It's basically a simple news app, which would hopefully pull articles from an existing Wordpress site, with a built-in radio player.

I want to design it myself but need to know how really, so if anyone could post any useful links or info I'll definitely +rep you

    Thanks in advance!!

You're going to need to learn Java to get it on Android and Objective-C for iOS. You will need a the Android SDK, Eclipse IDE and Java Dev Environment for Android, for iPhone you're going to need a Mac with XCode and a developer account.

Does it have to be a native application? If it's not set in stone, I would recommend building a web app. In fact, you can use PhoneGap to transform your web app to native (supported on iOS, Android, Palm etc).

There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages of both methods and it's worth reading up on.
