    Thumbs up Eurogamer Expo 2013

Anybody else been this year? Or going tomorrow?
I liked this year, got to play both the PS4 and the Xbox One.
The Xbox One is a total joke compared to the PS4, the controller feels horrible compared to the 360 controller too - the joysticks are made of cheap plastic instead of rubber like they were before, and (yes I know they're only pre-release developer consoles) the performance of the machine itself is relatively poor: bootup time takes about 3x as long as my PS3. The Xbox One is an absolute giant too, I knew it was bigger than the PS4, but the thing is bigger than the original PS3! It's about the same size as a VHS player.

The PS4 controller is amazing, they've got the design absolutely perfect this time round. I can't comment on the PS4 startup time because I didn't see one get booted up, but load times are acceptable, similar to the PS3.

Graphics on neither console were that impressive tbh, they're still at about the same level as the current consoles - with time I'm sure developers will push the hardware; can't believe they're not using Anti Aliasing with that kind of power! Battlefield 4 looks good on the Xbox One, but was still nowhere near as good looking as Battlefield 3 is on PC; surely they'd be able to run it at an equivalent to being maxed out on PC? Framerate left much to be desired too. However, again this is all still in development and ought to improve.

I heard from others that the ps4 controller feels the same as the ps3 controller. What do you mean exactly when you say it's perfect this time around?
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence

It doesn't feel the same at all. The basic layout is the same, yes, but the proportions are different. The joysticks are concave and convex in the middle. The triggers are also concave, The whole controller is a bit wider so sits in your hands more comfortably.
