    Default over-pronouncing "s"

I've had this thing for a while where I always hold the letter 's' for too long in certain words and I can't figure out if it's a lisp or what. For example, if I say the word "dance" (practically make the s sound in it) the s continues until after the end of the word so it looks like I'm saying "dansss". It's worse if I have to say a word filled with s sounds - e.g. "solicitors" has a continuous s sound throughout the entire word for me.

I don't know if this is normal as I've never particularly paid attention to how anyone says dance or similar words, but I know I definitely over pronounce with solicitors and I'm genuinely unsure how to stop it :S

If it's a word like "solicitors" where I have to make the s sound more than once then people usually do ask me to repeat myself and a few do pick up on it. The rest probably won't due to either not noticing or simple politeness

    Do you have perfect teeth?

A guy at work was a sizzler and it was due to his teeth being all weird. Got them corrected with braces and now sounds normal (aside from the yorkshire accent)
