    Default Skype Problem

Ok this is reaally beginning to grind my gears now.

I have a Windows 8 laptop so I installed the desktop version for Skype.
And I was pretty much happy with it.

But I'm having big problems with it.
It basically freezes up and "does not respond" which means I have to close the program.
I wouldn't mind if it worked afterwards, but sometimes it auto freezes on a new load up.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

@Despair.; If you're still having this problem, I had it too on a laptop, I'd reccomend downgrading to Skype 6.9 as that's what I've done and it seems to have fixed it!

You'll need to remove all of the Skype folders from AppData and ProgramFiles and then do an uninstall. You can find the download link to Skype 6.9 here: http://community.skype.com/t5/Window...6/td-p/1969405 under the "Accepted Answer".

Let me know if you have any issues and I can always guide you through it if you want
