iTunes being iTunes

Hi all (and Merry Christmas!),

Basically my iTunes has been playing up for a while now after updating it to the latest version (11.1.3.8). It will be playing music just fine and then if I want to change albums it will sometimes just completely freeze when I try to press play (resulting in me having to use task manager).

It's ridiculously annoying and I was just wondering if any of you have had (or still have) a similar problem and if there's anything I can do to fix it?

Uninstall from Add/Remove Programs, then go through your Program Files and AppData to remove anything to do with iTunes.
