i've never been guilty of any of them but still

i was thinking surly cause someone is jealous doesn't make them abusive then realized if they getting angry to it kinda is. never thought of it like that the advert was just weird

feeling angry or jealous isn't abuse, it's the manifestations of that anger or jealousy which is the abuse, whether that's physical or emotional.

I do agree with the rest though, and do feel like I could be seen as guilty of them, but not very... seriously? Had most of them done to me though.

yeah i agree but i guess it not when you try keep your anger to yourself but when you take it out on your partner / someone else it kinda abusive i guess

I think jealousy and the other examples are more like warning signs of abusive personalities or probably the traits of an domestic abuser. I think it's an abuse when those behaviour become more severe and they try to manipulate and dominate their victim?

I assume jealousy leads to the other things on the list. So it isn't actually abuse yet but will probably turn out to be if they jut get more and more jealous idk? Checking their texts and voicemails are definitely weird though

I've had my phone checked before and stuff. That's more controlling and trust issues that abuse though? I've been jealous of mine when she went to go see male friends before, but again that's not abuse as it doesn't escalate isn't anything :S
