Default Nigel Farage calls for Syrian refugees to be allowed into UK

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25539843

Nigel Farage, leader of UKIP, says the UK should follow international law and allow Syrian refugees into the UK. Currently the government refuse entry and say it's better to provide financial aid.

Thoughts? (Especially you @-:Undertaker:-; since I do believe you are against international laws, and refugees being allowed entry to the UK).

I've always said that I haven't got a problem with asylum seekers being allowed in *PROVIDED* they are fed, clothed, housed and provided for by individuals/families who have 'adopted' them as opposed to the state paying for it. I think that is what was done with Jewish asylum seekers in the 1930s. Oh and i'd also add - I wouldn't accept any with known criminal records.

If Farage is calling for the state to pay for it then I disagree. If he wants asylum seekers then under my proposal he and his family should pay for it rather than burdening everybody else with it. I'm all for people making moral, feel good decisions - aslong as they don't charge everyone else for it.
