He's clearly asking if there are any extensively shared fashions at your school. Like is everyone wearing leather shirts? Or dying their hair purple? I don't know depends where you are.

And my uni is full of asians so the fads can be different but at the moment a lot of them are wearing huge clunky boots with heels (even the guys) which looks odd to me :L.

I go to a design school uni so most the students are a bit well creative with their appearance but there's no standoutish 'fads' going on that I've noticed. Everyone's pretty unique and has their own creative flair..

Well at college I didn't really notice any fad, but at one point in secondary school everyone suddenly decided wearing those neon shutter shade sunglasses was super cool...
