That's fine and most of us get over things like this - normally by plotting some bizarre attempt for revenge that (hopefully) never actually gets carried out.

Something that we've done in college is when the person was gone, we wrapped all their stuff in wrapping paper and put their stuff under a Christmas tree.

Well im a military guy and ive always found it funny when we get new recruits in to surround there bed while they sleep fully geared up for a gas attack masks the lot and then on the count of 3 we all shout GAS GAS GAS! they wake up screaming lol
