Not really. Some cards are better than others, and paying will get you these cards faster, however if you play on a regular basis (Multiple times a week) you'll amass enough gold to get them anyway. A lot of people specialise in designing good decks with low rarity cards so that people can compete on a high level. I believe one person even created a deck that allowed them to get into legendary ranking which didn't actually have any legendary cards in it (Nor Epics if I recall correctly).

I got a beta key pretty early on (was it beta or release dno) and played a few games but I'm really not a fan. It's too much like other TCGs for me and it's a genre I think gets as repetitive as poorly-designed MOBAs

is it just me or is the ai rigged to hell
i cant beat it at all it always counters every card i put down with something better

i guess i just need better cards
