Default Computer Crashing Repeatedly - Tech Support Needed :(

    Hi guys
Okay so I've just changed from NVidia GTX 550Ti to Radeon R9 290 as my graphics card which is, from what I can tell, 4x better.
At first, it blew my power supply (which I've now replaced with a lovely Corsair 850W 80+ gold standard) and now it's taking its toll on something else, methinks.

I can run most things for some time before my screen freezes, cuts to black and restarts, and there seems to be no pattern as to which programs run for longer/shorter, even when comparing things such as Google Chrome and Garry's Mod

When looking at crash diagnostics upon restart, I am told that I'm suffering from a Blue Screen (which never appears) and some other information which I can try and get if necessary. I've googled a bit, and many solutions from replacing RAM to sending back the card have done it for people, but I need to know which is suitable for my system

Is anyone experienced enough in problems like this to help me? I can make available basically any file as part of the troubleshooting process

    Thanks in advance xx

people know me because of that shower thing one time and I do not regret anything

upon further review I feel a rather mild regret is warranted

Need to know the information the blue screen is giving, sounds like when the PSU went it damaged something with it.

Rightyo, the next time it crashes I'll repeat what comes up in Windows' little support box
It doesn't physically get to the blue screen as it crashes because it flicks from a black screen to completely off

It looks to be a problem either with the graphics card drivers or the card itself. I would check to see if the card is installed properly (Cables and PCI slot both secure). Also if it's the reference design R90 (Aka not branded by gigabyte or some other brand, just AMD) then check the GPU temps.

Did you cleanly install drivers? Or just allow windows to do its thing and leave old ones or what

Analyze the memory dumps on crash and see where going on

From the most recent crash here's what Windows had to say:

Having uploaded the dump file to a site, this is their analysis of it:

@scottish; I had to eventually reinstall Windows 7 due to a driver problem, so I believe I have no Nvidia drivers left on my pc

Upload the following file to a standard upload site so we can download it.

    C:\Windows\Minidump\030214-30014-01.dmp
