An interesting short video. Could have gone in discuss anything but I thought current affairs was better suited as it's to do with borders/political information. Such a complicated situation in the 1700's with the huge cluster of tiny bits of land all mixed together. I also never quite realised just how big the Soviet Union reached in its prime, pretty scary.

Funnily enough I watched this earlier and was in two minds as to whether to post it or not.
Yes, very interesting video but then again world history itself is very interesting. It always annoys me when people believe history has somehow stopped today when the reality is that we're just in a quiet period of a world that will always change and keep changing like that for hundreds of years to come.
