    Default Weird weddings

Okay, apparently asking this in a thread which was bumped isn't allowed, so here goes:

What are some weird weddings you've heard about? I quite liked the Habbo one, even if some people find it "sad" or whatever, if that's where they met what's the real difference between that and say a dating site apart from one being a game aimed at teenagers (i'm guessing they were both in their 20s) and one where you potentially have to pay money.

I thought bumping of old threads I'd allowed as long as you're on topic.

I think a lot has changed in 6 years meeting your partner online is becoming quite common these days with all these dating websites and apps thus being more accepted by people. I don't think the fact they met on habbo or their habbo themed cake or card is sad.if that's how they met and they're celebrating that, good on them.

I haven't heard about any weird weddings of any sort but I know a few people who've had more than one wedding such as a church wedding then a Indian wedding and someone who had a wedding abroad and then another one in the uk. I personally want a small wedding and don't understand the need for more than one especially if you're going to spend thousands on it.

My grandparents went to this wedding where there were people wearing hunting camo, overalls (only, nothing underneath), and typical southern clothing that you'd see people wear in public. It was a bit funny to hear about it considering that my grandparents are posh

It is, I reported the thread being closed (as in, I appealed to get it re-open), but @e5; said no significant information was added.

Also, I know a couple that had two weddings, one in the UK and one in Malaysia - but that's simply because their families lived in those countries respectively.

My auntie and I guess now uncle wtf got married in a pink leather (I think) dress and edwardian gentleman costume respectively. It was also summer so there was a line of sweat dripping across the aisle in the church pub.

A beach wedding is kind of weird but I think that's quite nice. Best weddings are traditonal Church weddings though.
