    Default Are you Passive Aggressive?

I don't know if there's a thread about this, if there is, oops. But if there's not then I shall start one.

    ---------

When growing up, I had always been taught about being "out of centre attention", or "don't speak out." and while in school, I was always being told "Being the odd one was a bad thing."
Whether it be thru friends, family, or teachers there was always that underlining theme of "Just be passive aggressive, and you'll be okay."

Our World of Teenagers, and Young adults have been sucked into this vortex of Passive Aggressiveness. Especially with social medias including; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat. Where your identity becomes anonymity and being able to say stuff behind people's back is just so common.

Now a days, those who have lived believing this lie are trained to not say anything to the person who is either not being fair, or outright rude.

My Quote, that I live by is: You are only weak to those you give power to.

Maybe it's a motto that you should take hold of. If you freely give power to someone, you are enabling them to force you to think what they think, do what they want you to do, and honestly become so powerless.

I would like to know from you. Are you Passive Aggressive? I genuinely want to know because I can say that I was, but I am learning that there's nothing wrong with having my own thoughts, and thinking for myself.

    Thanks for reading!

hmm I don't think that when I'm being hostile that it's at all subtle, I just say things outright. really can't stand people that are passive or beat around the bush when something clearly bothers them (esp. if it's something about me) cos it does nothing for anyone involved to keep it bottled up. don't think the world would be any fun without a little conflict in it and those that go out of their way not to tread on anybody's toes or avoid disagreement on every little thing are bores. that said, there are some situations where I just think oh I cba to disagree with that person right now so I'll just drop it or make an offhand remark about it elsewhere to let off steam. rare tho, normally I bask in disagreement. I live for conflict!
