    Default Annoyed at my friend.

    Ok, so

I told my friend that all my imessages were being sent to my mums phone as well as mine instead of mine as its on the same apple id and not to message anymore and he then sent a really rude message to my mum, messing about and then another saying like "I think you should give your son privacy and stop reading messages"

My brotheres like 30 and he's got proper angry what he said, and had a go at my friend which I agree but then he starts moaning at me... even though I said I told my friend not to send anything and I haven't spoke to him since.

    ...Ok.

Why don't you have a separate Apple ID?

All could be solved with a separate Apple ID.
Though I don't think you should want to talk to your friend if he's that much of a twonk.

She got giving my old iPhone 4 while I've been at university so I haven't had chance to make a new one for her yet, but I was going to when I'm at home for Easter.

I switched iMessages off on my iPhone anyway and I told my sister to switch them off on my old iPhone clearly she hasn't.

    ----

I'm more annoyed he sent it even If he was joking about, though I told him not to, and the fact my brothers now angry with me!

I don't mean to be rude but this all seems a bit petty.

    1. If you have a friend who is a bit of a joker, don't tell him not to send messages to your mum, because it's obvious he will.
    2. If you insist on telling said joker friend, then he should know there will be consequences (eg: your friendship).
    3. Why are you friends with such an immature jerk?
    4. Sharing ID with a parent. Less than ideal...
    5. Explain to your mum/brother about the friend being a jerk.
    6. You kind of deserve people to be angry at you and not the friend, in a way, you caused this. Sorry
    7. At the end of the day, no one died, it's just an embarrassing problem that will blow over, don't overreact. Don't get too bent out of shape over it, just let things calm down.

Hope it all turns out well

Thanks for the advice, I've sorted it all out anyway now.

I was always planning on creating her a new Apple ID when I got home from university anyway. My friends been warned in like our group anyway before over stuff like going on peoples Facebooks and acting immature. I'm glad he realises now things can back fire and their are consequences.

why didn't you sort it out when you gave her the phone? would have stopped a lot of hassle.
