    this is from a bad memeory, but somwhete in the config u can cahnged to a html only mode, althogh it says u cant change back, after it seemed to work u just copy u html in tpo a text boz and it makes the site like that. ish

    That is true. On freewebs, to put a layout on it, layouts have HTML codes right? So, you have to switch your freewebs account into HTML mode. You might not be able to put posts up on it though.
