Why are those things bad?

In any case, energy (coal, gas, oil and not ridiculous wind power) is very cheap just that the state taxes it to such an absurd amount that we pay through the nose for energy. If the state ever lost the income from energy sources, they'd simply invent even more taxes to rip us off over.

The video showed a lightbulb being powered by electricity, at no point was the power turned off. I'll link you to the first law of thermodynamics, which makes this 'device' impossible.
