Fuming!

I am absolutely frustrated with my school/principal/teacher.
In our local paper, they have a page that on a monthly(?) basis, schools construct it and write articles for it, does the layout and stuff. ANYWHO, my college was doing it and my article got chosen for the page.
I overheard yesterday that they're cutting my article because they want to put a bigger picture for the main article. I haven't been made aware of it yet, I was luckily in the room at the time and heard. But I think that's so rude.. To tell someone that their article is gonna be on the page and then just chuck it away when it suits them.
And it sucks because when I found out it was getting in the paper, I told my parents and they were like 'oh cool'.
(I have to try super hard to impress them, but my sister on the other hand has had many dinners dedicated to her successes...)
And now I'm not even getting this.

The guy who wrote the main article has also gotten everything I wanted. (I made it clear I was interested in doing the graphic design for the big production and he got that instead) and it seems that everything I have is being stripped away from me.
No proud parents, no article and nothing else either. :/ (he's also a massive ****)
Soo.. I don't know what to think. But I really want to chuck a major whoopsie at my teacher and tell him it's super annoying and then explain about my parents and yeah. :/

honestly there is not really a lot you can do about it. they obviously feel that their other article is more important or poignant.

explain the situation to your parents. they'll still be proud. ask to be in the next edition.

resentment and hatred will get u nowhere in this or anywhere else in your life. let go.

I know... and even if I did complain with my sob story, I wouldn't want that to make them change their minds.
I just wish things would go my way sometime soon instead of getting my hopes up and then having them come crashing down. :/ I'm gonna just not mention the fact that its not happening, they'll forget about it like they did with the other thing.

I'm over it, but I just hate the feeling of being pushed around or over, or not as important.
