The Sia Love Thread

Sia is a 38 year old singer and song writer hailing from Australia. She has been responsible for writing hit songs like Rihanna - Diamonds. She is also the voice in Titanium and Wild Ones, which respectively garnered over 200 million views on Youtube. What most people don't know, however, is that Sia has a singing career of her own. I am constantly impressed by the cinematic voice she possesses. She doesn't want to be famous, which is probably why most people haven't heard of her and why she doesn't have a large fan following. But every fan she has is one she deserves, and I believe she is phenomenal in every sense of the word.

Her new album, set to release in July, is one I am eagerly anticipating. I think it will contain her best music to date, and will have a lot more "mainstream" material than her last few albums which have faded into obscurity.

Thanks sharing that great article. Yes, it does shed some light onto why she's been so mysterious. I think her reluctance to become famous is actually helping her success in a way. People are intrigued by her and therefore want to know more about her and listen to her music. She doesn't try as hard as some of these desperate singers like Rebecca Black, who will cling onto one "hit" (albeit for the wrong reasons) and act as if they are already established in the industry. Sia's humbleness is something I admire.
