Default Thoughts on sequels / remakes.

2015 seems to have a lot of sequels/remakes in to classic movies such as new Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Terminator.

What are your thoughts on films having sequels/ more of them made after long periods of time/ remakes of your favourite movies/?

Toy Story 3 came out about 11 years after Toy Story 2, and it's my favourite sequel to date so I think it does work sometimes. However if Toy Story 4 comes out, it's just gonna ruin the whole thing.

I also like Christopher Nolan's Batman series.

Like stated above, it will result in good or bad idea. If it does possess a good story line (which it should), then no harm in doing so. People making films and movies just to attract viewers into watching the idea that they came up with. Good idea > Lots of viewers > Lots of money.

I really really hope that the upcoming sequel for the Star Wars film isn't a let down.

thg: catching fire way better than thg

it really depends. i mean, i think there should be a certain time span before every remake or something (like idgi why point break is being remade lol it's such a good film and it was only 1991 or smin)

can either go bad or good lol i don't think that really matters whether it's a good remake/sequel

some films i just feel don't need to be remade and people should just remember the original. but if a film is good, remake or not, then i don't mind. just a shame when they don't stick to storyline (changing it so much)

Remakes/reboots are a good idea if there is a good time between the previous films. An example of not having a good time would be with the Spiderman films.

Both spiderman 2's are better than the first ones. The one with Doc Oc and the newest one with Electro.
