Default should gambling be allowed in a very limited capacity on habbo?

something like only "official" fansites could run - like the habbox lottery...

No. There's either no justification for gambling at all (as it is now) or they turn a blind eye to it as an entire institution (as it used to be), but there isn't any way of having a middle ground considering it was stopped for legal reasons

No it's illegal for minors to partake in gambling, whether they are apart of an online community or not. Close thread.

But gambling was such a huge part of Habbo and casinos were some of the most popular rooms. I know it is easy for some people to get addicted and it is illegal for minors to gamble, but I'd say it's literally killed Habbo and the dice limit has impacted the way we host a number of events.

Okay removal of casinos has definitely not killed Habbo lol there's much more activity than it was before, more featured rooms, more trading. They were removed for good, accept it.

On topic, I don't think things like Habbox Lottery are harmful even though they are gambling and I think there are lotteries on gaming websites which otherwise have banned gambling? This might be an assumption idk but yeah banning all kinds of gambling would be a better option as we really can't say what sets apart the harmless gambling and harmful gambling (and it wouldn't take long before some kind of lottery is allowed and everyone starts making super rare lotteries or whatever we come back to where we started)
    anyway

okay but then you didn't mention furni prices lol how am i supposed to know what you're implying

that was handled well with ltds being allowed to put in the marketplace, thrones and some other classic rares dropped but otherwise not much impact...don't know how anyone can say it killed habbo though lol...
    anyway

because it's had a knock on effect on other furni/rares.... 'lol'

I think the dice limit can be quite frustrating when it comes to hosting events. I know there are ways around it and that not all events require dice but it's still a shame.
