Working in a supermarket, I am pretty used to banter between customers at the checkouts. Quite often I'll witness very flirty comments between customers whilst I'm innocently scanning their groceries! Today I overheard one man attempt to woo a much younger woman with "Can I have your Phone Number? I seem to have lost mine." Not knowing whether to cringe for the man or call security and get him detained, I joined in the awkward laughing they shared.
