Basically I've got a few dirt / scruff marks on my white wall in my student accommodation,

What's a good away to get the marks off the wall ??

If the paint is matt paint (not shiny, quite rough to touch) then you'll struggle to get it off... it's pretty impossible with matt paint to remove dirt or stain marks. The best advice with matt paint is to just dab it with something wet over and over again.

If it's silk paint then you can simply wipe away non-scratch marks/stains easily.

Its probably matt paint then by the feel of it,

The marks are not even that bad, its mostly off my bedding were its left pink type marks from the red on my bedding on the wall, and the marks are more shadow type marks where people have left their dirty foots on my wall.
