Ideas On Short Films!

So Hey

For a long time now, i have been inspired to make a short film and i have idea's in my head but the only problem is that im worried if people don't like it, i know like you shouldn't really care what people think but they are the actual viewers and like i really wanna make it to the best of my ability.

so this is where you come in, if you have any idea's of what you would like to see in a short film, then put your suggestions below in the comments.

No, no, no, no, no.

I like to write scripts in my spare time and sure anyone who likes to write/act/direct or any sort of talent really will want to be recognised or have approval but you should never make anything for them. Make it for yourself and what you like. Maybe it won't be liked by a lot of people but it will at least be yours. And maybe they'll love it.

I could tell you I like cop shows and hate horrors but if you love horror films and hate cop shows why would you not make a horror film just cos I don't like them.

What do you like? What do you know a lot about/want to find out more about? You'll be able to write best if you're interested in your subject. Maybe other people would prefer to watch a comedy but if you like writing romance more, the romance script will always be better because you're passionate about it!!

Maybe come up with a list of things you like; the things can be as specific as "electric-type Pokémon" or as vague as "sitcoms". Are you interested in animating or acting? How long is "short"? (they're normally like 10 minutes but yeah. up to you.) Come up with a plan of everything (plot if you can, length, style, etc) you want/don't want it to be and the ideas will start coming forward

if you've got an idea go with it, you can always change and adapt things as you go along. just be creative man!
