The HxF Mole 3 - Task 8: Assassination

This task is quite simple. As a group you want to reach a target number of posts in this thread – however, you need to make sure you don’t get assassinated by your fellow contestants.

If the same contestant posts both above and below a post of yours, you are assassinated and out of this task.

As a group, you must meet a certain number of posts to win group VIP.

Reach 50 posts, and the group wins 5 days.

100 posts for 10 days, 150 posts for 15 days, 200 posts for 20 days and 300 posts for 25 days.

Obviously, assassinated players, hosts and forum members outside the competition cannot contribute to these numbers, only posts by players still in the task are counted.

Also, posts from assassinated players, hosts and forum members should be ignored when observing assassination protocol.

So, let’s say the following occurs:

Player 1 posts. Host posts. Player 2 posts. Assassinated player posts. Player 1 posts.

Player 2 would still be assassinated in this scenario, as we ignore posts from the host and assassinated players.

So, it’s quite simple. Reach the post quota and make sure nobody assassinates someone.

Not quite. Of course there’s other rewards:
The player that posts the most posts (whilst active) will win an exemption.
The player that assassinates the most players will win an exemption.
The player that becomes the only player left in the task will win an exemption.

In the case of a tie, whoever posts the most posts in this thread (whilst active) will win the exemption, if that doesn't decide the tie, no exemption will be awarded.
