I want to use the YouTube application on the Apple TV as a karaoke system, just searching songs and playing it. However I want to use microphones and play that so the sound comes through the TV, but what gadget do I need to get to make it work?

You need a microphone? Plug it in and use external microphone?

You'll need to check what ports your TV uses - but a simple little microphone should work - or you can find adapters.
Obviously all depends on what ports you have.
