    Default Stain on Shoe?

So I just purchased a reduced pair of Nike shoes from JD, which were £40. Got home, after only seeing one shoe in the shop, there was a stain on the one I hadn't seen. Is this why they were reduced? And is there any easy way to remove stains from shoes? (These are Nike Air Pegasus)

I can't say I know of any good methods to get rid of stains. What is the actual stain, is it dirt/oil/glue etc. You could try googling it too?

Funnily enough, I saw some carpet cleaner lying around, and thought id try it. I diluted it with warm water, and hey presto, the stain vanished! Don't know what the stain was but the carpet cleaner worked thank god.

Throw all shoes in the washing machine, it works.

I even throw leather ones in and they come out as good as new.
