    Default Bad eyesight improving?

If you have bad eyesight, have you ever noticed your eyesight suddenly improving a lot? I haven't played games on the TV for months, and after constant hours and hours of playing games on TV for many days now my eyesight has strangely and clearly improved. Things seem to be much clearer (although don't get me wrong, I still have terrible eyesight). I don't wear contacts or glasses (unless really needed I'd wear glasses which is rare) at all despite recommendations to do so as well.

I guess hours and hours a day of staring at a TV helps your eyesight... or it seems to have for me :S. I've never experienced something like this, it's quite weird!

That is quite weird, total opposite for me although I actually wear my glasses by choice rather than cos I need to. It's for things far away so I could just use them when I need them but I have noticed that it used to be far away now it's steadily getting closer and closer before I need to use my glasses to see what things say.

eh I wish that happened to me, it's getting worse for me. But anyway regarding the 'staring' bit, my optician told me to try out an exercise to improve the eyesight of my astigmatic right eye to just keep my index 2 feet away from the eye and stare at it, and then stare at the distance. I think it's related to the eye getting used to distant objects in the vision etc etc.

From what I have heard, staring at near objects, especially bright ones like the TV or the computer, only strains the eye and worsens eyesight so I am not sure. Maybe something related to diet helped?
    anyway

Unfortunately, no. I haven't noticed my eyesight improving at all. In fact, I think my eyes have been getting worse over the years.

I am very interested in getting laser eye surgery within the next few years, as soon as I secure the funds to do so.

    Unfortunately my eyesight gets worse.

I don't wear my glasses as much as I'm supposed to, but I don't really notice how bad it is unless I shut or have something blocking my good eye.
My good eye tends to over compensate and make up for the crappyness of my other one.

Strangely enough, my bad eye seems to be the one with a browny-red line going from the pupil through the iris, though the opticians say it doesn't affect my eyesight.

my eyesight keeps on getting worse. I have to wear prescription glasses but I choose only to wear them at uni/placement or when I need to read signs or something which is probably making it worse but meh.

Wish I could wake up one day and have crystal clear vision (sometimes when I fall asleep with my contacts in by mistake you have that feeling). I have an astigmatism in one eye but before I got glasses my vision wasn't too bad but now after wearing glasses and contacts for years I need them because my eyes rely on them.
