    Default Coward Cornick Sent Down

Ann Maguire murder: Will Cornick sentenced to life

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-29879865

A 16-year-old boy has been given a life sentence after he admitted murdering Leeds teacher Ann Maguire.

Will Cornick stabbed Mrs Maguire, 61, in the neck and chased her from a room at Corpus Christi Catholic College, then sat down and said "good times".

The judge, ordering Cornick to serve a minimum of 20 years, said he had shown a "chilling lack of remorse".
Cornick, who was 15 when he stabbed Mrs Maguire in April, had not been named because of his age but judge Mr Justice Coulson lifted an order banning his identification.
At Leeds Crown Court earlier, he stood in the dock flanked by two prison officers as the clerk read out the charge.

He looked straight ahead and showed no emotion as he admitted murdering Mrs Maguire in April. The Spanish teacher suffered seven stab wounds to her back and neck.

The judge Mr Justice Coulson said it was "quite possible" the teenager would never be released.
So this case has been going on for a while. Absolutely sickening boy (and yes, he is a boy), truly hope he is never released. Always shocks me that a 16-year-old is capable of this; I simply cannot even imagine having the thoughts, never committing such a foul crime.

The disgraceful British Injustice system strikes again.

Should be life as he's a minor, if he was 18 I would like to see him have been dropped through the floorboards with a noose around his neck.

Potentially never released. Clearly a psycho!

I don't agree with indefinite sentences either, there's something quite sinister and un-English about them. The tool of regimes.

So what sentence do you want then? :S

Complaining of the life sentence (20 years) and complaining of a potential 999 year sentence. Confused..

A sentence (or real life sentence) as opposed to a 'life' sentence where he could possibly be released in 20, 30 or 50 years.

Keep indefinite sentences to the asylums.

Ah I remember this earlier this year. I'm glad he's getting a tough punishment, although in my eyes 20 years is not enough, especially when he will probably get out before that!

Read the OP- - the judge said he may never be released.

Yeah I saw it, though the key word there is may. Only time will tell I suppose, but I do hope he never is released.
