At least this has been done by a private shop (entirely within their rights, however stupid) and not the state: unlike the smoking/porn bans.

With a private company at least you have the option of boycotting and shopping elsewhere, just like I have boycotted Subway for a while now.

If customers genuinely gave negative feedback about selling GTA V then there is no quarrel. Just shop elsewhere. It seems pornography (if Target even sells it?) and other 18+ material has not had such negative feedback so it seems fair - no matter how weird it is.

Well everyone's pretty much bought GTA V already as it was released a while ago. Target probably has like 10 copies on their shelves per store lol, no one buys games from there.
