    Default [Community Polls] For and Against displayed in first post

    K, kinda saw where this would help in this thread: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthrea...93#post8295193

    Before posting these community polls, can you open PMs for users to pitch their "for" and "against" ideas so we get a clearer picture of what it's about and why it'd benefit us or why it'd be a bad idea? That post I've quoted has no bad repercussions to it yet people aren't understanding actually what's going on with it, so yeah... things like that might help in the future if forum management are willing to do it.

    It's not a big thing, but it'd be nice.

    Decisions already super slow and now you want to add a consultancy period into it as well
    Whole point of feedback forum is that people say their side, other people say the opposite side and then management make a decision based on the argument rather than the numbers on either side (which are not necessarily representative of the whole forum but the arguments for/against a decision would be similar regardless of how many). Making a decision is always going to annoy someone on the side you didn't agree with but it's going to happen sooner or later. I'd choose sooner.

    At the start of the thread I thought I had explained what was proposed pretty well

    In this case, there was no reason against it, so there shouldn't have been a poll from the start. But god forbid staff actually have to code

    and in future if you do a poll, don't make it Yes or No, because then the results are absolutely useless as people who don't care vote either one when that's not their actual stance on the poll.

    I just think having pros and cons shown by members might've been better, not knocking you.

    Yeah I know, it's one of those suggestions which isn't a big deal if it didn't happen but something that management should consider in the future for the bigger issues. :p

    Before I posted the thread I posted the options in the Feedback thread asking if they options were okay and @FlyingJesus; who actually came up with the idea said that they were okay. I can't help that people who don't care vote.

    Also, I didn't think it necessarily needed a poll either but Chris said as it would effect all users, there needs to be a poll.

    Absolutely zero actual arguments against the change and only a difference of 2 votes, and that's still 21 people with a reason for vs 0 with a reason against

    1 with a reason against. I thought Joe's point was well reasoned even if the conclusion of that meant the idea had to go more radical haha

    That would require common sense @Kyle;
