As you can see the increase of Apple products in the hands of Americans have increased a 14.2% over a course of four years. Approximately 312 Million people inhabit America. This means in 2010 around 17.5 Million people owned an Apple iPhone, ending in 2014 that had increased to 61.7 Million people.

In relation to the amount of people that actually live in America, that is only a small portion of Apple users? To bring around to my topic for this conversation; Cellphone use has always peeked interest to me because it shows the lack of communication we have with those around us because we are too busy connecting with those not around us. It actually gives me a chuckle when I am at a restaurant and I see a group of people all on their cell phones.

In the spirit of Technology discussion;

What are some ways cell phone companies can encourage the connection of those you are hanging out with in person?If there even is a way.
