Default What is the most serious injury you had?

I broke my arm, ankle, split open my head but thankfully nothing too major.

Got a needle embedded in my knee when I was 11ish. Didn't know it was in there for two nights/three days (when I say embedded I mean COMPLETELY inside my knee so u couldn't see it) and I hadn't known it had gone in. Then went to hospital and had to have an operation to get it out and slightly reconstruct my knee as the needle had been scraping away at the bone as I walked and had to stay in hospital while I took antibiotics as, obviously, the needle hadn't been sterile so I'd got an infection. Waah.

Or when I broke my wrist last September/October sometime and didn't notice as it was a very small break. Complained about the pain for ages and my mum finally took me to the GP in December. They recommended an Xray and sent me to the hospital where we discovered it was a break. Then they put it in one of those wrist splint things and said I'd be fine in 4 - 6 weeks but it turns out they ****** it up and now it doesn't work properly at all idk.

Or the time I got my foot run over by a car and broke it that was cool.

I'm clumsy and therefore accident prone.

Not really had any life-threatening injuries per se, just minor cuts and things. I've had a cut where I almost nicked an artery though so I guess that would be the most serious!

The worst would probably be around this time last year and I ran my foot over with a cage full of compost at work. I must have been very close to breaking my toes, I had blood caught underneath a few of my toenails and luckily I had a little gap for the blood to escape otherwise I would have had to go to the hospital. After that though I'd bruised all my toes because of it and the nails had got infected and a part of my big toe nail managed to come off. It didn't grow back for months and my toes were a complete mess for ages. Pretty sure it's fine now though. Although one of the managers at work who wasn't even there when it happened (as in didn't work at my shop) always tells me to watch my feet as he heard the story .

bailed whilst skateboarding down a hill and grazed all of my knee really deeply and ended up being admitted into hospital overnight because it had developed into a blood infection or smth
