Default what stereotype against your gender do you hate?

for me, i hate that guys are supposed to be a 'bigger' man and as long as thrs a female, we need to let them have their way and do everything for them and stuff irks me so much????

there are always stereotypes against genders, which of these do you particularly dislike?

I don't hate any, infact I think most stereotypes when it comes down to gender are right or justified.

I hold doors open for both genders, but more so women.
I offer to help women in a shop if they can't reach something.
I talk differently to women I don't know and not as 'harshly'.
I would expect (and it is true) women to be more emotionally fragile than men.
I would buy a girl a doll or something girly because that's what most of them want.

Does this make me a sexist, patriarchal (and whatever other words they've come up with) pig by tumblr standards? Who cares, it's tumblr and not the real world.

In my experience, this has never been the case and has always confused me. Granted, my experience may be classed as limited, but I've seen plenty more boys play with dolls accompanying action figures than girls actually wanting dolls. I always feel that girls did more hands on things, they can still be classed as girly, with hair accessories and stuff, but the doll thing has always confused me.

I don't like how men are still stereotyped as a gender with a higher intellect.

Pretty much all of them since they're outdated and unnecessary in advanced society and only lead to problems. They're mostly based on how humans had to function as a hunter-gatherer species (generally giving protective status to women in return for less personal responsibilities/agency and giving more authoritative power to men in return for drastically lowered protection) and have absolutely no place in a world where we don't rely on laying down your life to save the birthgivers in order to keep the species going. There are of course biological generalisations that one can make like saying men tend to have greater muscle mass than women, and whilst not actually having more emotions or anything silly like that women are proven to have an evolutionary predisposition to display them more (as well as the societal right to) but these should not be grounds for any legislative or social codes. It's entirely baseless and also very lazy

That men should be fearless of everything and anything, such as spiders, but for whatever reason it's fine for women.
