What rewards system did your primary or high school use?

In primary school obviously it is based much around rewards and we simply had a system of those yellow smiley stickers which you were over the moon with if you got one. If you got more than one then that was just a day forged in heaven. In high school they tried different systems, but given the size of the school they were impossible to administer so they always fell apart.

    How about you?

In primary, teachers did stamps in book and I remember really good work would be put up on the wall outside the principals office. We had an award ceremony every month, 'special assembly' where a class would do something special on stage and each class had someone selected for a pupil of the month certificate given out and any other awards for sports etc were given out. I don't remember any for secondary really.

In school right now we get given points which get you rewards termly/yearly.

    400 - Bronze (badge)
    800 - Silver (badge)
    1200 - Gold (badge)
2000 - Like 5 people have this (I don't even know what this is)

If you get gold then you get to go on a trip at the end of the year (e.g. Alton Towers, Twycross Zoo) for free.

    For year 11:

1000 points = £20 off prom ticket or hoody or yearbook
Get a good grade in math: £5
i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared

In high school we got commendations, we could save them up and purchase prizes as the end of the year and get what we wanted! I remember trying to get enough for this pen set, but I didn't make it and they were all gone anyway. However, I got a set of Horrid Henry books and some sweets. Got different stuff every year, I got a WWE Digital Camera one year too.

We usually got a fish stamp in our books... And at the end of the week if he had all 5 stamps we got to pick a small toy, candy, or another choice but we use to do this in elementary school....

In primary school we had 'Golden Time' which was like 30 minutes of playing games/watching TV on a Friday afternoon, if you did anything wrong during the week you got time took off you.

In primary school we had 'Friday Assembly', which like the name suggests was held every Friday and the best person each week would get a certificate, if you got it two weeks in a row, you won one of those cool art sets with felts and paints and all sorts.
In high school, it was mainly commendation letters and the ability to go on educational trips for free, along with a yearly prize draw dependent on whether you earned merits throughout the year. I would always be picked out of the hat last and end up with a pack of pencils or something, when other people were getting iPods.
