Unreciprocated love

So...

Have you ever felt unreciprocated love? In other words, have you ever thought you loved someone (not celebrities please) but they haven't felt that way back towards you? How long did you feel this way towards that person, do you still feel this way and if you don't how did you break out of it or can you?

I don't think I've ever felt actual love for anyone that wasn't reciprocated, perhaps lust yeah. Only time I remember was from I was quite young and I really liked this guy! In the end he just began ignoring me because I was too clingy (I was like 13). I obviously didn't love him, but I do still think about him today and I get that little feeling for him of what I used to feel.

Unrequited is a prettier word and yeah of course everyone's felt that, it's the definition of a crush.

only once have i been so much more in love with someone than they were to me and i just wouldn't give up as i am so sure about them, waited it out to see if it could be returnred and now it's worked out
